Happy Sunday! It has been a good week for reading — YALC is just around the corner and I’m trying to get through as many books as possible before the 28th! Here’s this week’s Bookstagram posts.

I was lucky enough to get a hardcover ARC of Gather the Daughters by Jennie Melamed. I absolutely devoured this book! It’s so creepy and eerie and filled with fantastic female characters. I highly recommend it

The Dragonbone Chair has been on my TBR list for years. It’s a huge book, clocking in at 912 pages, so I’m saving it for a weekend when I have loads of time to sit down and get lost in a fantasy world.

Eeee! My amazingly talented friend designed a new logo AND business cards for YALC! We’re working together on some new branding and such for the blog (Well, she’s working and I’m marvelling at everything she comes up with), so keep an eye out for some changes!

Awwww yes, scratching an itchy wee face. Do your cats rub their faces on your books? Mine can’t seem to get enough, especially with hardbacks. It’s kind of disruptive but also adorable.

I’m really looking forward the the New Philip Pullman book! Apparently the lead character lives just up the road from me — the wonders of living in Oxford!
That’s it for me this week! You can follow me on Instagram — and all other social media — at @ishouldreadthat. If you have a Bookstagram account, let me know!
